The Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA) reports that insurance companies are generating a record 100 complaints daily. Home building and motor vehicle insurance sectors are particularly affected, with complaints averaging 24 and 44 per day, respectively.

Several factors contribute to these delays:
